James Fields worked primarily in acrylics. His earlier works (Winter Pueblo and Rest Stop at right) were primarily realistic. Later works were impressionistic.

 HMS Crown is happy to induct Taos artist James Fields and his wife Russie into the HMS Gallery of Beautiful People.

Taos Artist James Fields has called Taos home for 30 years, but he is internationally acclaimed. He belongs to the world. His paintings hang in every state in the Union and in numerous countries worldwide. Upon graduation from Kansas City Art Institute in 1950, he began to paint and never stopped.
