 HMS Crown proudly honors the memory of Ollie Turner, who passed away in April, 2007 at the age of 84.

  A lifelong Texan, Ollie Turner's career spanned from manufacturing bullets and ammunition for the military during World War II to an artist Southwestern artist exhibiting in Taos, NM to caring for the elderly and disabled. She unselfishly served others throughout her life and had a heart of gold, a characteristic reflected in her art. She was always a true believer in HMS Crown products and a loyal supporter of the company and its principals.

"When we first started the company," says HMS Crown CEO Terry Turner, (pictured with Ollie below in the HMS Crown Taos gallery) "times were tough, but Ollie was always there for us. I recall that once before an extremely important client meeting, Ollie saved the day by getting my clothes out the dry cleaners. God bless her."

She loved HMS Crown products and was one of the biggest advocates and biggest critics. "If she didn't like a product, she would simply switch brands until we improved it," said Terry. "She was one of our best product testers and was instrumental in helping us develop the superior quality we are known for today."
