She was an outstanding pre-med student, but actually received her degree in English and Journalism and quickly moved on to establish herself professionally as the editor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, then as an editor for a major daily newspaper, The Dallas Times Herald, now the Dallas Morning News. She subsequently established her own award winning advertising agency in Dallas, Bullock Marketing, and among her peers achieved significant kudos and awards for outstanding print, radio, and television advertising campaigns. Many of her fledging clients went on to before significant national companies. Her surgeon father, Louis Albertus Kregel, was a lifetime clinical professor at Southwestern Medical School..... and had a deep interest in alternative medicine and avidly sought natural healing methods before resorting to patient surgery. In her long and close professional association with Dr. Kregel she worked on a variety of research projects with him -- projects that continue today and are reflected in her fight to bring greater understanding to the cholesterol myth, cancer, and similar health problems she believes are widely misunderstood. Suzi, who has a doctorate in naturopathic medicine, was the publisher of the Dallas Medical Guide and is currently the publisher of other newspapers and has a book in progress on the cholesterol myth based on her work with Dr. Kregel.
