Terry Turner, CEO of HMS Crown writes, "Thank you God for this incredible voice --- say what you will, think what you may, the lovely Susan Boyle has a voice that speaks to us from the very depths of the universe, it rings with the tones of God's own hammer when he first began to beat out time and space on his karmic forges. This wonderful lady surely comes to us from the first dawn of our first days to remind us in sound, not in words, how it must have been, how it should have been, how it yet must be ... when I hear this incredibly beautiful human singing, I know that in the end the dark lords are going to be cast down forever. Sing, Susan Boyle, sing, may it please God, sing on."

Meet the Beautiful People

the Incredible Voice of
Susan Boyle

HMS Crown is happy to induct Susan Boyle from  a little village in Scotland into the HMS Gallery of Beautiful People.

Susan, who has a voice that touches the depths of  souls, was discovered on a talent show - Britain's Got Talent -- a parallel to American Idol.

Although Susan is not an HMS Crown Customer, we would love to have her as one," says HMS Crown President Susan Turner, who ranks the lovely Susan Boyle along side Caruso and Mario Lanza as the most talented and influential singers of all times.

According to the Associated Press, Britain's unlikely singing sensation is a church volunteer who lives alone with her cat Pebbles in one of Scotland's poorest regions. She was recently propelled to global fame when she auditioned for the television show "Britain has Talent", surprising judges and charming millions of people worldwide with her incredible performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables".

In April, 2009, Boyle's performance on the "American Idol"-style show "Britain's Got Talent" was viewed about 60 million times on You Tube, capturing the attention of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Demi Moore.

The rather shy, amateurish appearing Boyle, who said it had always been her dream to perform before a large audience, was initially greeted with laughter from skeptical viewers and rather rude patronization and eye rolling by the show's notorious judge Simon Cowell. But when she began to sing, the room stood still.

The youngest of nine children, Boyle grew up in Blackburn, a community of 4,750 people 20 miles west of Edinburgh, in Scotland — a district blighted by unemployment and crime. Boyle had difficulty learning as a child and as often the case with artists and highly successful people was bullied by other children.

As an adult, she's struggled for work, but had excelled on her local karaoke circuit and in church choirs.

In an interview with The Associated Press at her home last month, she said the death of her mother had inspired her to enter Britain's TV talent show. "I wanted to show her I could do something with my life," Boyle said.

Since then, she's appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and had a Hollywood style makeover.

"I think she is coping very well at the moment, she is just Susan. Just as calm as you like. Just carrying on as normal," said Jackie Russell, manager of Boyle's local pub The Happy Valley Hotel, in Blackburn, Scotland.
