Curriculum Vita Sharon Borouchoff has maintained an active practice of both her graphic and musical talents throughout a highly successful career. Indiana University trained as Classical flutist, and having performed professionally with many fine orchestras, including The Milwaukee Symphony, The Florida Symphony, The American Ballet Theatre, The American Wind Symphony, The Greater Lansing Symphony, The Waukesha Symphony, and the Dayton Philharmonic, Sharon has considered her paintings and drawings of equal importance to her career as flutist throughout her life. After retiring from concertizing with the above orchestras under the direction of musicians such as Aaron Copland, Akira Endo, Kenneth Schermerhorn, and Istvan Jaray, as well as in recitals with her Flutist/Photographer husband, Israel Borouchoff, she is now devoting her life to painting. Sharon Borouchoff's works have been seen in galleries in Colorado, and are presently on display at the Frameworks Gallery in Colorado Springs and the HMS Crown Gallery on the town square in Mount Vernon, TX as well as the virtual HMS Crown Fine Art Galleries on the Internet.
