HMS Crown High Honey ™
We are happy to introduce high altitude
wildflower honey --- known as HMS Crown's “High Honey.”
High Honey is sold in an eight-ounce glass container. It Is one of the
world's few true Alpine-type honeys gathered at around the 10,000 foot
range.
For the connoisseur, it offers a delicate flavor unlike any other honey.
Unfortunately production of this honey is very limited and the bulk of
it is previously reserved having been pre-sold. High Honey is difficult
to keep in stock. If we are out of stock, you can join the first shipment
list by making pre-payment while awaiting the next available batch. Unfilled
orders, if any, will be refunded, of course. We suggest you call
1-800-867-7897 or email anti-aging@hmscrown.com
about availability before ordering High Honey.
HMS Crown's Royal Honey, our original traditional honey, and our High
Honey are as untouched as is consistent with packing a wholesome, natural,
and professional product. During June, July, and August, the hard working
bees gather the honey crop when there are large numbers of blossoms upon
which they can forage. The surplus honey (that which is beyond their winter
requirements) is removed in the fall of the year and carefully extracted
by spinning the comb in a centrifuge. The captured honey is then stored
in drums until it can be further packed into small containers for sale
year round (if supply and demand match).
HMS Crown, Inc. is and has always been dedicated to quality and, as
long as supplies can be guaranteed as to source and quality, we will continue
to bring you the very best, even if in small quantities.
In recent years honey consumers sustained a serious blow. The huge cereal
manufacturers, wanting to add a bit of honey to their "nutritional" products,
started buying up all the honey production they could find. This was in
part due to shortages and in part due to marketing considerations. Since
they only use a very small amount in any one box of cereal, cookie, loaf
of bread, etc., the price of honey is not very meaningful to them. They
may eventually drive the market price of honey beyond the reach of the
average consumer. It is a terrible waste of honey, but nothing will change
the trend and, as you probably know, the raw land and plants are finite
and only so much quality honey can be produced.
