Mix a half glass of warm water with 2 tablespoons of honey and the juice of a lemon or an  orange to help promote sleep.

Many people including opera singers report adding honey to a glass of warm milk to sip slowly helps soothe the throat.

Pick-me-up: Combine 2 to 3 tablespoons honey, and some zest of orange or lemon peel. Take with a spoon.
