2 cups all-purpose flour salt to taste 4 teaspoons FRESH baking powder 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1 egg 3/4 cup milk What to do:
2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and butter;
Add the egg and milk; stir just until completely moistened (do not over blend) 3. Drop the mixture by heaping tablespoonfuls onto the baking
4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden. Most biscuit bakers fail because they use stale baking powder. Use
FRESH powder, it is well worth it.
