Traditional Pork Piggy Pudding
Caution!!!! This is not a dieter's
zone.
What you need:
1 package of brown and serve
sausage
2 or 3 Delicious apples diced
into large chucks
1 batch of cornbread of your
choice , adding 1 tablespoon sugar to the cornbread (Click this link if
you want a cornbread
recipe).
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
What to do:
Brown sausage and put in a large
casserole dish
Add cut up apples to the sausages
and stir to mix well.
Mix up a batch of any corn bread
mix (adding 1 extra tablespoon sugar) and pour over the sausages and apples.
Please note that the King's Chef does not use mixes. He makes cornbread
from scratch.
Bake in 400 degree oven for about
20 to 25 minutes until corn bread is finished and golden brown.
This is great served alone or
with toast, biscuits, French toast, and, perhaps with the King's Scramble.
