Rodeo Weekends Cruise on down to Elk City and enjoy old fashioned rodeos, a tradition for nearly seven decades. Elk City is just about 38 miles west on Route 66. Throughout the summer are rodeos and events and vaious activities at Parades and rodeo have been an Oklahoma tradition for almost 70 years.
Elk City's Rodeo of Champions 
for 69 years where cowboys compete in saddle bronc, bareback bronc, calf
roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing and bull riding. Children compete
