Cautions to observe when using any commercial skin lighteners 

• Skin Lighteners are NOT to be used by pregnant women. 
• Skin Lighteners are NOT recommended for children under the age of 12, without medical supervision 
• Do NOT use any Skin Lightener for more than 4 Months without taking a one month (30 day) break in usage before beginning treatment again. Skin Lighteners should not be used continuously or long-term.  
• Since most lighteners limit melanin under the surface of the skin from producing pigmentation, it is important to use a good sunscreen (LINK) to protect your skin and to apply it frequently.  
• A test spot is recommended to rule out the possibility of excess irritation or of any allergic reaction.  
• Avoid exfoliants while using skin lighteners, including AHAs, enzymes, retinoids (Vitamin A, retinal, Retin A,) or Vitamin C on the areas of discoloration that are being treated.  
• Be sure to use a sunscreen on treated areas.  
• People with thin or sensitive skin may be well advised to consult a physician prior to using commercial skin lighteners for treatment of dark spots, age spots, brown spots, splotches, blotches, liver spots, senile lentigines; lentigos, or other discolorations.
